On the Scriv

Because I want the stories to be perfect, I have been slaving away on the ebook formats, trying to make them polished. The process has driven me a little batty; I’ve spent more hours than I can count discovering limitations and inconsistencies, and finally, at long last: I caved like an alcoholic locked in a BevMo overnight, and drank the damn Scrivener.

I can be a little stubborn... Er, maybe, a lot.

If you’ve never heard of Scrivener, it is a clever bit of software focused on long form story creation. I could give you a lot of reasons why I jumped on the band wagon, but it mostly came down to the ebook creation process. The work flow flexibility, and just plain smarty-pantsiness of Scrivener won me over – that and all the bucket-loads of time I’ll save in the long run.

So far it’s solid, and I’m happy.
