Wanta Write a Book? Make February a Month of Action.

NewNoWriMo.

It's new to me. Is it new to you?

Like it's word-hacked national inspiration: NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) in November each year, that garners the slaving attention of writers everywhere, the idea is to write a rough first draft of a book in one month by tossing out your internal editor and kicking your typing into full gear.

50,000 words, come bad grammar or nonsensical prose.

Nile E. White, writer, and SFFWorld contributor has tossed down the new challenge, are you ready to take up the gauntlet? Yes. It's the 10th of February, but why not?

Make this the time you finish the novel you've always wanted to write. Or set a different word goal. I'm working on Kip the Quick, and tossed my name into her spreadsheet to finish it this month. How about you?

It's still a (relatively) New Year, and like Nila notes, no family holiday in sight that eats into your focus.
